The vocal powerhouse even had to stop singing her lines, in front of a 20,000-strong crowd at London’s O2 Arena.
One fan captured the moment and shared it to X/Twitter, joking in their caption: “That damn confetti has got beef with Nadine. Bless her.”
But it’s not the first time she’s fallen victin to the same gaffe.
Just a few weeks ago, the Irish star inhaled some of the confetti while on-stage at Dublin’s 3Arena.
Later on in the tour, Nadine told fans: “I choked on one of those things the other night.
“I took a big deep breath and I was like, ‘Huh,’ looking for the Heimlich to be fair.
“And in this day and age, somebody caught it and put it on TikTok so I could relive that moment any time I want.”
The girl group – also featuring Cheryl Tweedy, 40, Nicola Roberts, 38, and Kimberley Walsh, 38 – kicked off their comeback tour in May.
It was their first time performing since fellow bandmate Sarah Harding sadly passed away following a cancer battle in 2021.
They have since played a number of arenas and venues around the country including Manchester, Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds and Birmingham over their 30 show tour.
First announced last November, the long-awaited reunion tour is set to conclude in Liverpool later this week.
Every night, the girls have paid tribute to their late friend, Sarah.
Nadine addressed the audience in Dublin, saying: “We’re going to do a duet with Sarah tonight. It’s going to be us, Sarah, you. Let’s do this together.”
The moving tribute incorporated Sarah’s vocals, while images of her were shown on a screen behind the band.
Together, they all sang their cover of I’ll Stand By You which became their second number-one in 2004.
Girls Aloud rose to fame more than two decades ago when they took part in the ITV reality show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
They triumphed over a boy band from the show named One True Voice, with their single Sound Of The Underground.
It seems like confetti has been causing some trouble for Nadine during Girls Aloud’s comeback tour. The incident at London’s O2 Arena wasn’t the first time she had a run-in with the confetti, as she also inhaled some while performing in Dublin. Despite these mishaps, Nadine has been able to see the funny side of things, with one fan capturing the moment and sharing it on Twitter.
The tour, which kicked off in May, has been an emotional one for the group following the passing of their bandmate Sarah Harding. They have been paying tribute to her every night during their performances, including a special duet featuring Sarah’s vocals. The tour is set to conclude in Liverpool later this week, marking the end of a long-awaited reunion for the group.
Girls Aloud first rose to fame more than two decades ago after winning Popstars: The Rivals in 2002. Since then, they have become one of the most successful girl groups in the UK, with multiple number-one hits and sold-out tours. Fans have been eagerly awaiting their return to the stage, and the group has not disappointed.
