Paloma Faith was feeling better and back on stage at Glastonbury on Sunday, just days after losing her voice and being forced to cancel her gig in Southampton.
The singer, 42, rocked out and threw her long hair about wildly during the energetic set and was cheered on
by the crowd as well as famous friend and former Celebrity Bake Off co-star Jodie Whittaker, also 42.
Paloma put on a very leggy display for the perfomance in a semi-sheer red dress with strategically placed ruffles and very saucy split.
She completed her onstage ensemble with a bejewelled cowboy hat and strutted her stuff in a pair of clear perspex heels.
Still recuperating Paloma ensured she sipped tea throughout the set to ease her soar throat.
On Friday
she took to Instagram to announce she’d been forced to cancel her Southampton gig just hours ahead of the performance.
In a social media statement, Paloma said: ‘I’m incredibly upset and disappointed to announce that I need to cancel my show tonight in Southampton.
Paloma, who shares two children with her ex Leyman Lahcine, continued: ‘After suffering from exhaustion and catching various illnesses from my kids my voice has been severely affected and my range is compromised.
‘I have sought advice from medical professionals, they have advised that I need to rest my voice and that means I’ve had to cancel tonight’s show.’
She added: ‘I’m so sorry to everyone who bought tickets, I’ve loved being on the road and seeing all your gorgeous faces and I’m gutted I won’t be dancing with you tonight. There will be other opportunities in the future, I’m sure.’
Fans rushed to wish her well in the comments section of the post, which was shared to both Instagram and Twitter/X.
They said: ‘Hope you feel better soon Paloma I’m sure you’re fans will understand that you’re health care needs to be your priority’; ‘Get well soon Paloma’; Get well soon, and take time to recover’;
‘Get well soon lovely’; Sorry to hear this, get well soon lovely lady’; ‘Get better soon. Don’t worry. You’re human why everyone loves you. X’
The star, whose most recently release is her sixth album The Glorification Of Sadness, told the Sun: ‘I feel so excited. I am almost going to combust.
‘It is one of the absolute best memories of my career, playing at Glastonbury. I’m over-the-moon excited for it.’

In April, Paloma postponed her Cardiff show for medical reasons, as she announced she has had to reschedule her performance for a second consecutive night.
She was left ‘devastated’ when she was diagnosed with Laryngitis, which is caused by a virus and means she can’t sing.
Taking to Instagram, a day before the scheduled show, she singer cancelled her gig at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena – and told fans it would be rescheduled for a later date.
Paloma also admitted she is unsure if her show at The Brighton Centre on Saturday night will go ahead, while vowing to do all she can to be fighting fit for the planned performance.
