Jennifer Lopez bonded with stepchild Violet Affleck amid on-going marital issues with Ben Affleck just a day after being spotted together.

The 54-year-old was joined out in Southampton, New York, by her husband Ben Affleck’s daughter and her friend, actress Cassidey Fralin.

Meanwhile Ben, 51, was seen 3,000 miles away as he enjoyed a joyride on his new electric motorcycle. lime

Jennifer wore a long black dress, showcasing her toned back, sandals, and sunglasses.

The superstar’s long brown hair was done in waves, and she carried a black purse.  Violet wore a red and pink shirt, patterned white pants and sneakers.

The 18-year-old sported her signature frames and kept a face mask on just days after going viral for an impassioned ‘mask mandate’ speech last week. lime

A day prior, Jennifer and Violet bonded during a Saturday trip to the East Hampton Antiques & Design Show.

The Atlas actress donned a white tank top with an open back, blue jeans, and wedges.

Jennifer kept her hair pulled back in a low, tight bun and accessorized with shades and hoop earrings.

Violet wore a pink crop top, a flowy pink skirt with cherry detailing, and white sneakers.

That same day, Jennifer shared a sweet video on her Instagram stories of herself, Violet, and Cassidey in the car.

In the clip, the On the Floor singer sat in the front seat with the sunroof down, rocking her sparkly wedding ring, and smiling to the camera. lime

The girls gazed out the window in the backseat as the wind blew Jennifer’s hair all around.

She added a ‘Summertime’ sticker to the video and paired it to The Kid LAROI’s hit song Girls.

A source told People that Jennifer ‘seemed to be very happy shopping with Ben’s daughter. She had a big smile on her face.’

A second insider shared that the duo was shopping at Roller Rabbit in East Hampton, N.Y., where they were ‘surrounded by people’ and appeared’ unfazed’ when they exited the store.

The outing comes on the heels of rumors that Jennifer and Ben are experiencing marital issues two years after they first tied the knot in 2022.

The couple spent the Fourth of July weekend apart, as the This Is Me… Now star celebrated in the Hamptons with her family and friends while the Deep Water actor stayed in Los Angeles. lime

Ben spent time with his and ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s three kids, Violet, Seraphina (aka Fin), 15, and Samuel, 12.

On Thursday, it was revealed that their $60.85million Beverly Hills marital home had been put on the market publicly, per TMZ.

Back in June, the pair tried to quietly offload the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom mansion to no avail.

The MLS listing notes that the house was renovated within the last four months, hence the $3 million spike in the asking price.

Earlier this summer, reports surfaced that Jen and Ben have been living apart for ‘months,’ amid speculation that they are headed for divorce.

Ben was seen without his wedding ring on Tuesday and resides at a rental home near his children’s mother, while Jennifer recently took a solo vacation to Italy.

According to People, the Flash star was also seen moving his belongings out of their Beverly Hills home.

‘Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now,’ an insider told the outlet. ‘He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.’

But the Shotgun Wedding actress did wish her other half a Happy Father’s Day.

‘Our hero. Happy Father’s Day,’ she gushed over a black-and-white photo of Ben with a white heart emoji in an Instagram Story.

The duo also recently attended Violet’s high school graduation together.

Meanwhile, in May, sources told People Jennifer and Ben’s marriage ‘is not in the best place at the moment.’

The Monster-in-Law alum shares 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex Marc Anthony.

Following Jennifer and Ben’s Georgia nuptials, the Selena star got candid on a few glitches during the August 2022 weekend.

‘All of us caught a stomach bug and were recuperating ‘til late in the week,’ Jennifer reflected in the September edition of her ‘On The JLo’ newsletter, ‘that, and along with a few other unexpected setbacks, had all the makings of a doozie of a wedding weekend.’

Nevertheless, the lovebirds made it to the other side.

‘It had rained at sunset every day that week,’ Jennifer continued. ‘Everyone was worried about the heat. Not to mention the thunder and lightning that arrived almost on cue each day at the exact time the ceremony was supposed to start that Saturday.’

She walked down the aisle to The Things We’ve Handed Down, which could only be described as ‘a song about the wonderful mystery of children – something we could only guess at back then, but it was the perfect choice as our five children preceded me on the walk.’

Jennifer added, ‘The twenty years between those dreams of youth and the adult world of love and family we embraced that day, brought more to this marriage than either of us ever could have imagined. We weren’t only marrying one another; we were marrying these children into a new family.’

A few months later, the dancer touched on how the kids have adjusted to their blended family.

‘We moved in together,’ Jennifer told Today in 2023. ‘The kids moved in together. It’s been, like, a really kind of emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams coming true.’

As for how the businesswoman would categorize all the changes? As Jennifer put it, ‘It’s just been a phenomenal year. Like, my best year I think since my kids were born.’

Taking a moment to gush about Ben, the JLO Beauty founder added: ‘He’s dreamy. He’s a sweetheart.’
