Mel C looked loved up as she cosied up to her new hunky Australian model boyfriend Chris Dingwall at Wimbledon on Wednesday.

The former Spice Girl, 50, couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed a day out at the tennis in south west London – after going public with him at Glastonbury last weekend.

Signed with Ford Models and Chadwick, the 185cm tall hunk from Sydney, NSW, travels the world for glamorous photoshoots. 

Believed to be in his 40s, an online biography for the model explains that Chris has ‘over 20 years of print, commercial and film work with some of the worlds best brands’ under his belt. 

Chris is also an actor, writer and director for film and television, having helmed a handful of shorts, including the St Kilda Film Festival entry Oasis, in which he also starred. 

For the day out Mel looked effortlessly chic in a white trouser suit and orange vest top, while accessorising with a camel clutch purse. 

While Chris cut a dapper figure black suit, white T-shirt and dark shades as he put him arm around Mel.

Chris had additionally directed two episodes of the Australian miniseries Brock, about car racing legend Peter Brock, and has a number of upcoming film projects in post-production.

He is repped by Australian agency Benchmark Creative Management for his acting work.

Tellingly, his Instagram Stories post on Saturday indicated he was visiting Babington House Country Estate, Soho House, a popular spot for celebrities attending the nearby Glastonbury Festival, at which Mel was spotted with her man earlier that same day. 

It’s unclear where the pair met, but Mel embarked on an extensive DJ tour in Australia back in May.

Mel, who was previously pictured on a dog walk with her male companion earlier this month, went public with her romance at the festival. 

Mel cut a cool figure in an open beige shirt which she teamed with a pair of matching shorts. 

The singer displayed her toned midriff in a khaki bralette beneath the number and kept comfortable in a pair of white trainers. 

Getting into the festival spirit, Sporty Spice rocked a cool black crossbody bag and donned a pair of white framed sunglasses.

Meanwhile her hunky companion opted for a plain black T-shirt tucked into matching linen trousers. 

He added a pop of colour to the ensemble with pink trainers and wore a pair of dark stylish sunglasses. 

The pair looked happier than ever as they held hands while carrying drinks in the other as they made their way around the iconic Worthy Farm. 

While Mel was in good company, she admitted she would rather be on the stage than simply attend the festival. 

During an appearance on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, the singer confessed she’s still holding out hope on performing on the Pyramid Stage with the Spice Girls. 

She confessed: ‘I think the absolute ultimate would be to do it with the Spice Girls. There’s nothing I would like more. But you know, while they’re still making their minds up…’

When asked why the iconic girl group hadn’t performed at the festival before, she mused: ‘n the ‘90s, they didn’t have pop music at music festivals.’ 

Mel was seen earlier this month with the man as she headed out and about in London.

The hitmaker put on a cosy display with her male companion, who at one point wrapped his arm around her during the dog walk.

They made a stop to grab a takeaway coffee and then continued their outing with Mel’s pooch. 

The duo appeared in high spirits as they laughed and chatted while sipping their coffee.

Mel, who had a fling with Robbie Williams in around 1997, keeps her love life largely out of the spotlight but previously spoke about how she was banned from dating in the early days of the Spice Girls – while her bandmates were free to pursue romances.

‘Looking back what struck me was it was one rule for one and another for the others, right?’ she said. 

‘I think when you are vulnerable as well, people go, I don’t think it’s good for you’.

Mel said the rule for the other women was, ‘she is fine, she can have a boyfriend, she can cope with having a boyfriend, she is strong enough but you are not’.

‘It makes you question yourself when you are already vulnerable,’ Mel added.  

Mel revealed she joined dating app Hinge following her split from her producer ex-boyfriend Joe Marshall in 2022.

The star swerved celebrity dating apps such as Raya in favour of signing up for the more humble Hinge.

Mel was previously in a seven-year relationship with Joe, but the former couple called it quits in the summer of 2022.

Speaking on the Not My Bagg with Joe & George Baggs podcast, Mel revealed although she has joined, she wasn’t having much luck.

She told the hosts: ‘What is it about Hinge? I’m single, and I’m having a little look around, it’s slim pickings.

‘There seem to be loads of hot girls but all the hot guys are gay.’

Mel began dating Joe in 2015 – with the pair even living together in North London.

Following the split, it was claimed that the star was  ‘not afraid to be single’, as busy schedules got in the way of her romance.
