On-Air Drama: Loose Women’s Kaye Adams Caught Off Guard by Ruby Wax’s Live Expletive—Viewers Shocked, Apology Issued!

Loose Women’s Kaye Adams was left red-faced and swiftly apologised to the audience after Ruby Wax let slip a cheeky expletive live on air.

The daytime TV panel returned for another lively discussion on Thursday (June 27),

with Kaye at the helm alongside Frankie Bridge, Brenda Edwards, and Kelle Bryan.

The show took an entertaining turn when they welcomed comedy icon Ruby Wax

to chat about her UK tour titled I’m Not As Well As I Thought I Was, which gives fans a deeper look into her mental health journey.

Ruby got candid about her two daughters, Marina and Madeline Bye, who have followed in her comedic footsteps forming a duo.

She shared how she’s often barred from contributing to their act and sometimes even from watching their performances, admitting that she frets over whether they’ll be humorous enough.

When Kaye probed: “How does it feel to see them up there, even if you’re only allowed for two minutes before you get booted out?” Ruby humorously responded: “I don’t know!

“They’re more talented than I am so I get, p****d off. Yeah really p*****d off, none of this ‘go girl!’” she exclaimed, reports the Mirror.

The studio erupted into laughter at Ruby’s candid confession, prompting Kaye to issue an immediate on-air apology, jokingly adding: “Well, I mean I take great pleasure in having to apologise for Ruby Wax’s language. It will go down in my CV!”

Viewers were utterly charmed by Ruby’s stint on the show, taking to social media to express their adoration for the comedy icon. One fan gushed: “I loved all the stuff Ruby did with French and Saunders – that said, they can do *no* wrong in my eyes.”

Another admirer commented: “Ruby Wax never changes. She’s great imho sharing her mental health. It’s ok not to be ok.”

Ruby’s stage show, inspired by her bestselling book, offers a reflective look at life-altering journeys she embarked on in search of meaning. Ruby has previously spoken about the motivation behind her show, saying she sought “an antidote to living a frazzled life”.

Discussing the concept, Ruby explained: “The original idea behind this show was based on the extreme journeys that I wanted to take in order to find an antidote to living a frazzled life. Along the way I wanted to find meaning, peace, happiness the stuff we’re all chasing. However, after some transcendent experiences, I ended up in a mental institution. Obviously, I didn’t find what I was looking for.”
