The vocal powerhouse even had to stop singing her lines, in front of a 20,000-strong crowd at London’s O2 Arena.
One fan captured the moment and shared it to X/Twitter, joking in their caption: “That damn confetti has got beef with Nadine. Bless her.”
But it’s not the first time she’s fallen victin to the same gaffe.
Just a few weeks ago, the Irish star inhaled some of the confetti while on-stage at Dublin’s 3Arena.
Later on in the tour, Nadine told fans: “I choked on one of those things the other night.
“I took a big deep breath and I was like, ‘Huh,’ looking for the Heimlich to be fair.
“And in this day and age, somebody caught it and put it on TikTok so I could relive that moment any time I want.”
The girl group – also featuring Cheryl Tweedy, 40, Nicola Roberts, 38, and Kimberley Walsh, 38 – kicked off their comeback tour in May.
It was their first time performing since fellow bandmate Sarah Harding sadly passed away following a cancer battle in 2021.
They have since played a number of arenas and venues around the country including Manchester, Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds and Birmingham over their 30 show tour.
First announced last November, the long-awaited reunion tour is set to conclude in Liverpool later this week.
Every night, the girls have paid tribute to their late friend, Sarah.
Nadine addressed the audience in Dublin, saying: “We’re going to do a duet with Sarah tonight. It’s going to be us, Sarah, you. Let’s do this together.”
The moving tribute incorporated Sarah’s vocals, while images of her were shown on a screen behind the band.
Together, they all sang their cover of I’ll Stand By You which became their second number-one in 2004.
Girls Aloud rose to fame more than two decades ago when they took part in the ITV reality show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
They triumphed over a boy band from the show named One True Voice, with their single Sound Of The Underground.
One of the most memorable moments of the tour occurred when the vocal powerhouse had to stop singing her lines in front of a 20,000-strong crowd at London’s O2 Arena, due to a confetti mishap. This incident was captured by a fan and shared on X/Twitter, with the caption joking that the confetti seemed to have a grudge against Nadine.
This wasn’t the first time that Nadine experienced such a mishap. Just a few weeks prior, while on stage at Dublin’s 3Arena, she accidentally inhaled some confetti. Reflecting on the incident, Nadine shared with fans that she had a scare and joked about looking for someone to perform the Heimlich maneuver.
Despite the challenges, the girl group, which also includes Cheryl Tweedy, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh, kicked off their comeback tour in May. This tour marked their first performances since the passing of their bandmate Sarah Harding, who lost her battle with cancer in 2021.
Throughout the tour, the group has paid tribute to Sarah every night. In Dublin, Nadine addressed the audience, announcing a special duet that included Sarah’s vocals and images of her on a screen behind the band. Together, they sang their cover of “I’ll Stand By You,” which became a chart-topping hit in 2004.
Girls Aloud first rose to fame over two decades ago when they competed on the ITV reality show “Popstars: The Rivals” in 2002. They emerged victorious, beating out a boy band named One True Voice, with their debut single “Sound Of The Underground.”
