Tom Cruise appeared in top spirits when he landed in London in his private helicopter before fist bumping a member of staff last week.

The Hollywood actor’s arrival in the capital came ahead of his appearance at Taylor Swift’s Wembley gig, where he watched from the VIP tent. 

Tom, 61, beamed as he landed on the helipad in Battersea, southwest London, before heading to the pop sensation’s Saturday night performance.

Tom was filmed having a friendly chat with the staff as he got off of the helicopter and  signalled for the operator to say goodbye and share his thanks.

The Top Gun actor sported a plain black black T-shirt and denim jeans teamed with white trainers, finishing off with his trademark aviator shades.

After his epic landing, Tom was seen dancing the night away in the VIP box at the singer’s Wembley gig on Saturday.

The Top Gun: Maverick star was among an A-list lineup of guests, including Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Hugh Grant for the second night of the London leg of her Eras tour. 

Fans said the icon was the ‘last person I expected to see’ as he spent the night with Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, and his Mission Impossible director pal Christopher McQuarrie, 55. 

The video showed Tom bopping away to Blank Space, but fans joked he ‘looked so out of place’ as he didn’t appear to know the lyrics. 

They wrote: ‘Just a suggestion. how about listening to one of her albums first before going to her show…lol…hilarious’. 

‘Omg TOM CRUISE!! He’s such a legend! I love Travis, but to see Tom Cruise there is super exciting, too.’ and ‘Tom Cruise a Swiftie? I’m here for it!’.   

‘Haha. I love this. Cruise looks so out of place’ and ‘Gotta love the awkward Tom Cruise shuffle literally the last person I expected to see’ (sic). 

‘Tom Cruise has zero rhythm!’ and ‘Tom Cruise wishes he knew her songs!! Lol. He’s so lost in the vibe. But he’s trying to rock a bit!!’. 

Others commented on Travis’ bodyguard letting his hair down as he danced enthusiastically.

They wrote: ‘Travis’ bodyguard is my new favourite character in this rom com’. 

‘Tom Cruise out here is just clueless about what’s going on.’ 

Others, however, were unimpressed he was at Taylor instead of at this daughter Suri’s graduation and wrote: ‘His daughter graduated yesterday but of course he wouldn’t be there’.

A week earlier Tom was spotted landing in Battersea in the same helicopter amid Mission Impossible 8 filming.  

He beamed after his arrival which came after a day trip in Oxford.

The Top Gun favourite was snapped having a friendly chat with the staff as he got off of the helicopter and took some photos with them. 

The acting legend sported a baby blue polo and denim teamed with white trainers, finishing off with his trademark aviator shades.

Other than his fun-fill evening at Taylor’s gig, Tom was last seen filming in April when he shut down roads just a stone’s throw from Downing Street. 

Dramatic scenes signalled trouble for the Impossible Missions Force agent Ethan Hunt as the actor was seen kneeling on the road in surrender.

The filming of the UK scenes of the eighth instalment of the Mission Impossible franchise initially took place between March and December 2022.
