Amid divorce rumors, the true reason Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez sold their $68 million Beverly Hills mansion is that “this house is cursed!”

The reason they want to get rid of it

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are reportedly urgently trying to sell their Beverly Hills home amid ongoing rumors of marital issues.

The couple is eager to sell the property, which they bought for $60 million less than two years ago.

The home is listed for $68 million, but they have yet to attract a buyer.

It’s been noted that Affleck and Lopez have been spending time apart, with Affleck residing in a rental in Brentwood and Lopez spending more time in New York.

Despite the distance, there is still speculation about a potential reconciliation.

According to US Weekly, a source revealed that Affleck and Lopez are “in a rush” to sell the 12-bedroom, 24-bath mansion because they “never felt settled” there.

According to US Weekly, a source revealed that Affleck and Lopez are “in a rush” to sell the 12-bedroom, 24-bath mansion because they “never felt settled” there.

“They thought they could sell it off-market but made a game-time decision in order to put more eyes on the property,” an insider told US Weekly.

“They are in a rush to sell it. Ben especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there.”

The reason it’s up for sale

The mansion’s 38,000-square-foot size has reportedly been a concern for the couple, as they rarely have all their children together in the expansive home.

“They rarely have all the kids there at once, so it felt huge for the two of them,” the source added. “Nothing has been decided yet as far as the divorce, but selling the house is the first step.”

Affleck has three children-Violet, Fin, and Samuel-with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

An insider previously shared with People magazine that Affleck found the property “too far away from his kids,” and Lopez considered it “too big.”

It should be noted that there are also reports suggesting that their children are hoping to help mend the couple’s relationship.

It seems that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are facing some challenges with their Beverly Hills home. Reports indicate that they are eager to sell the property that they purchased for $60 million just two years ago. Despite listing it for $68 million, they have yet to find a buyer.

Recent rumors suggest that the couple has been spending time apart, with Affleck staying in a rental in Brentwood and Lopez spending more time in New York. However, there is still speculation about the possibility of a reconciliation.

According to sources, Affleck and Lopez are in a hurry to sell the 12-bedroom, 24-bath mansion because they never truly felt at home there. The 38,000 square-foot size of the property is said to be overwhelming, especially since they rarely have all their children together in the house.

Affleck has three children from his previous marriage, while Lopez has twins from her own past relationship. It seems that the sheer size of the mansion may be contributing to the couple’s decision to sell, as it doesn’t quite feel like the right fit for their family.

Despite the challenges they are facing, there are reports indicating that their children are hopeful that selling the house could potentially help mend their parents’ relationship. It’s clear that there are many factors at play in this situation.
